Former chief minister of Balochistan and president of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, spoke to the party workers in Durrani House in Khuzdar and said he was not happy with the current party members, hinting at the chief minister and other ministers in the newly established government.
He stated that despite the fact his party had the government, priority was being given to the opposition, which was resulting in “disappointment for the party workers”. He further said that show cause notifications would be issued soon after the chief minister and other ministers clarified their party positions. He also spoke of conducting party elections as soon as possible so as to strengthen and save its future.
Speaking about his three years of performance as chief minister, Jam Kamal expressed satisfaction, saying that one and a half year of his governance went in dealing with Coronavirus pandemic.
“Even today, our works are visible to everyone across the province,” he said. Alyani further claimed that those who called them anti-development and unsuccessful are taking his projects forward. One nationalist party leader, he alleged, was sidelining himself to bring Quddus into power. He said that he was afraid of the unfavorable consequences of lifting Quddos to the position of chief minister.
