Faisalabad, Chinese city sign MoU for trade cooperation

A memorandum on Establishing Economic and Trade Cooperation between SCO demonstration area and Allama Iqbal Industrial City has been signed between the city Qingdao of the People’s Republic of China and the city of Faisalabad, and calls for the establishment of a friendly and cooperative relationship.

The ceremony was interlinked between Faisalabad, Islamabad and China at the same time. Divisional Commissioner Zahid Hussain and CEO Faisalabad Industrial Estate Management Company (FIEDMC) Rana Yousaf signed the documents at Metropolitan Corporation Hall. Parliamentarians Shakil Shahid and Waris Aziz were also present along with CCO MPC Zubair Hussain Nat, TOs Ilyas Shakir, Mujeeb ur Rehman and other officers.

The divisional commissioner said that the purpose of MOU is to further enhance and develop friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He informed that both parties will share experiences and information and will cooperate in the field of economy, trade, tourism, science and technology, culture, agriculture, education and other areas on the basis of equality, reciprocity, sincerity and loyalty. The Commissioner thanked the authorities and said that it was a great honor for me to sign the MOU as administrator of Metropolitan Corporation.
