Farhan Saeed urges fans to not boycott ‘Tich Button’

The singer-turned-actor Farhan Saeed has expressed his opinions of not undermining the hard work of 300 people after a fan recently requested the public on Twitter to not see the film Tich Button because of Feroze Khan’s inclusion.

When addressing Saeed on Twitter, a user asked the public to boycott the movie as it features a ‘wife beater’.

In response, the Suno Chanda actor said, “Well Ayesha, I respect your opinion but before you just put a cross on the hard effort of about 300 people for almost three years, you should know this movie was shot in 2019.” You don’t just undo all of the hard work that so many people have put in, Saeed continued.

Feroze Khan is accused of beating his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan. Before this, Sonya Hussyn, Khan’s other co-star, also addressed the issue of working with actors who have been accused of domestic violence.

Hussyn opposed domestic abuse during an interview and stated that she would never condone such an “inhumane” action, but she still does not think that victims or perpetrators should be identified in a sub judice matter.

The movie has been dogged by issues since Khan was accused of allegedly abusing his wife Sultan. The actor has ‘vehemently’ denied the charges made against him.
