After a lot of speculations regarding the relationship of Faryal Mehmood and Daniyal Raheal, with both keeping silence on the issue up till now, the former has finally spoken up about it and quite openly so.
While the Pakistani public had already assumed a separation between the two television actors after noticing how they unfollowed each other on social media and never made it to any talk show the way most celebrity couples do, Faryal Mehmood confirmed the divorce in a recent interview.
While she did hint at it in a previous interview with Ahsan Khan, there was still a bit of confusion. This time, however, Faryal Mehmood chose not to beat around the bush.
The ‘Raqeeb Se’ fame actor said that the divorce was bound to take place. She further added that the reason why she and her ex-husband had never talked about it was because they understood that both the parties were respectable figures of the entertainment industry, and a blame game on anyone’s part would be a highly disrespectful gesture. “I’m not the only one involved,” the actress was observed saying.
She also went on to say that people had started assuming that the two had gotten divorced, even when they were together, which was quite shocking and also a strange prelude to what was about to happen.
Having shared all these details, Faryal Mehmood also said that she was quite happy now, and had not taken her separation on her nerves. She said that being single did not mean that you could not be happy, and that being married was not a criterion for happiness, adding that right after her divorce, she went to Italy for a break which helped her a lot with her catharsis.
