Fatima Khan, our very own Kammo from the popular Pakistani sitcom Shashlik seems to have celebrated the most important day of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal with unparalleled devotion.
The fashion journalist and hair stylist and the wife of singer, comic actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt not only wished her friends and followers a happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi on Instagram, but also expressed her love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by sharing some photos from her tour to his birthplace, Madinah. Two of those photos of the husband and wife immersed in their respective meditative reveries in Masjid-e-Nabwi’s verandah, gained special attention and admiration from the fans.
Not only this, but before the 12th of the Islamic month, Khan shared multiple messages on Instagram telling people how to decently celebrate the day of the Prophet’s (PBUH) birth and demise by planning for special additional prayers.
Some of the photos had lovely captions based on verses from classical naats, which many used to listen to in their childhoods. This made fans not only admire Khan’s love for the Prophet (PBUH), but also made them nostalgic for the once frequently aired poetic pieces on national television praising the most important personality in Islam.
