The eagerly awaited series Barzakh, starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, will make its worldwide debut at the Series Mania Festival in France.
The news was announced by the digital portal Zindagi via their official Instagram account.
“Zindagi’s upcoming original #Barzakh by Asim Abbasi, starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, was chosen at Series Mania Festival for its international World Premiere, Here we come, France,” they stated.
The creators hadn’t released the series’ opening sequence in a while. The new drama series is keenly anticipated by the audience.
Fawad portrayed an elderly guy who is searching for love in the miniseries. The intergenerational trauma between fathers and sons is a major theme in the television series’ narrative.
Asim Abbasi, who previously helmed movies including Cake and Churails, is the director of Barzakh. Asim said in a statement that this series holds a very special place in his heart.
Abbasi while talking to the media said that after his father’s demise and after seeing his son develop into a little boy, he found himself filled with nostalgia, with thoughts of days gone by and loves lost.
“I then started to consider my worst concerns, including the extinction of awareness, imagination, and love. And from these anxieties came a tale in which love was, in fact, everlasting. Where it survived us, making it the greatest legacy left by humans,” he added.
