Fawad Khan’s ‘Maula Jatt’ Gandasa auctioned for $50,000 in Canada

The replica of the “Gandasa” that Fawad Khan used in “The Legend of Maula Jatt” was sold at auction for $50,000 in Canada at a charity event that was well-attended by the Pakistani community.

Fawad Khan, the star of “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” attended as a special guest at the fundraising event held for the Sahara for Life Trust Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

Together with the weapons used in the production of “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” the “Gandasa” of the movie’s protagonist, Fawad Khan, fetched $50,000 at auction and was purchased by a Pakistani residing in Canada.

Fawad Khan handed over it to the Canadian-based Pakistani who purchased the replica. This sum will be given to the Sahara Life Trust for the care of cancer sufferers.

Fans snapped photographs and also got a chance to get autographs from their favorite actor, Fawad Khan, on this occasion.

While the movie was a smash hit in the Pakistani film industry, grossing Rs 290 crore and still playing in theatres, it also had a good impact on the promotion of charitable causes.
