Fawad says agencies have reported plot to assassinate PM Khan

Minister claims security has been increased around premier

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Friday claimed that the country’s security agencies have confirmed a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Earlier this week, another PTI leader Faisal Vawda also said that there were threats to the prime minister and his life is in danger.

The information minister stated on Twitter that security agencies had reported of a plot to assassinate the prime minister. He added that security had been increased around the prime minister and all of the party members were worried about the protection of their leader.

He also said that despite having such serious threats, Khan was a brave leader who would fight for his own country and would not accept dollars or allow foreign bases in Pakistan.
