Fawad’s arrest is not political victimization: Maryam Aurangzeb

Federal Information Maryam Aurangzeb stated that an attempt is being made to give a political context to Fawad Chaudhry’s arrest.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Maryam Aurangzeb said that Fawad Chaudhry’s arrest is not political, political arrests were made during Imran Khan’s tenure, and during his tenure ministers used to hold press conferences about arrests before time.

The daughter was detained in front of her father during the administration of Imran Khan, according to Maryam Aurangzeb, who claimed that an FIR had been filed by the Secretary of the Election Commission against Fawad Chaudhry.

“The arrest of Shahbaz Sharif and the search of his daughter’s home were acts of political vengeance.”

The Federal Minister stated that the people must determine where to draw the line. A campaign against the Pakistan Army was launched from the party’s Twitter accounts.

“They are threatening the constitutional institutions by stating that they will make it difficult to live if a decision is made against our leader. If anyone is allowed to threaten institutions, then everyone should have that right.”

Earlier, Fawad was detained at his home after allegedly “threatening” the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members in a media interview a day earlier outside Imran Khan’s mansion in Zaman Park.
