Barrister Shahzad Elahi has been appointed Attorney General of Pakistan by the federal government and the Law Ministry officially announced the appointment.
Shahzad Atta Elahi has been appointed Attorney General in accordance with Article 100-1 of the Constitution, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Law and Justice.
It will take effect right away, according to the notification.
The federal government replaced Mansoor Usman as attorney general by appointing Shahzad Atta Elahi.
