The Ministry of Energy (Power Division) has directed the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) to conduct online Katcheries (public meetings) for the immediate resolution of electricity-related issues faced by consumers. These online Katcheries, held on Facebook, allow consumers to directly inform FESCO officers about their problems, leading to improved services, according to CEO Engr. Bashir Ahmad.

During the E-Katchery held at FESCO Headquarters, consumers from Faisalabad, Jhang, Chiniot, Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Toba Tek Singh, and Khushab raised their concerns and problems. CEO Engr. Bashir Ahmad emphasized that the government’s vision focuses on promptly resolving public complaints related to electricity, aiming to address consumers’ issues immediately. He assured that all consumer problems are being addressed on a priority basis.

During the online Katchery, the CEO personally listened to the electricity-related issues and complaints from consumers, including meter changes, LT proposal preparation, replacement of old transformers, power line repairs, and voltage drop issues. He instructed the concerned officers to swiftly resolve these problems and provide him with a daily report on the progress. GM (Operation) Rana Ayub, GM (CS) Umar Hayat Gondal, DG (HR) Athar Ayub Chaudhry, Director (PR) Tahir Sheikh, Director Customer Services Shahbaz Mehmood, and Deputy Director 118 Ali Imran were also present during the online Katchery.
