Actor Feroz Khan has approached the Sindh High Court (SHC) over the seizure of his mobile phone and password by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Justice Umar Sial heard a petition filed by actor Feroz Khan in connection with the FIA’s mobile phone seizure and harassment case.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyer Shabbir Shah told the court that the FIA had seized Feroz Khan’s mobile by misusing its authority, Feroz Khan’s mobile password had also been taken, and the phone contains all the private information.
On the arguments of the plaintiff’s lawyer, Justice Umar Sial inquired whether any inquiry was going on against Feroz Khan.
The petitioner’s lawyer told the court that Feroz Khan had accidentally posted a legal notice on social media.
Shabbir Shah told the court that Feroz Khan admitted his mistake and removed the legal notice from social media after three minutes, but the FIA kept Feroz Khan sitting for six hours.
Feroz Khan’s lawyer requested the court to get his client’s mobile phone back.
After the arguments, the court stopped the FIA from harassing Feroz Khan and issued a notice to the FIA for February 21.
