FM meets leaders of Pakistani-American community

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with leaders of the Pakistan-American community in Washington.

Foreign Minister Bilawal stated that Pakistan is proud of their success and we appreciate their continued support in the national development of Pakistan.

“Our vibrant Diaspora is an asset for strong Pak-US relations,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari added.

Bilawal on Monday reached Washington to underline the need for strong bilateral relations.

The objective of the trip was to highlight the close connections with the US without severing ties with China.

The foreign minister just returned from his trip as the representative of G77+ China to the UN headquarters in New York.

Regarding the FM meeting with US Secretary of state Antony Blinken, State Department said, “We do not have anything to share at this time.”

Recently, Bilawal had been talking about strengthening ties between Pakistan and the US frequently in a number of interviews.
