FO rejects Indian minister’s remarks on Pakistan’s involvement in international terrorism

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has categorically rejected Indian external affairs minister’s remarks of its involvement in international terrorism.

Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar had said, “No other country practices terrorism in the manner in which Pakistan has done. You show me anywhere in the world what Pakistan has done for so many years against India.”

The Indian minister had also said that India was known as an IT expert whereas Pakistan was known as an international terrorism expert.

Foreign Office, rebuking remarks, said that the remarks were manifestation of the obsession of Indian leaders that they present concocted facts on terrorism to mislead the international community just for pointing fingers at neighbors.

He also said that Indians present such cooked up facts just to mask the state-sponsored terrorism and violation of human rights inside India. FO also said that state terrorism was not more evident anywhere than in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) where terrorizing, torturing and tormenting of innocent Kashmiris with impunity was being continued by the occupation forces.

FO also added that the world was aware and widely acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and contributions towards ensuring world peace; further adding that India had been involved in supporting terrorism inside Pakistan from within its territory as well as from other regional countries.

The FO, calling International community for holding India accountable for terrorism and instigating unrest in neighboring countries, advised India to disavow its policy of state terrorism.
