Former CM Punjab Usman Buzdar also announces to quit politics

Properties vandalized on May 9 belonged to state, incarceration should be condemned, says ‘Wasim Akram Plus’

Former chief minister Punjab and PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s “Wasim Akram Plus” Usman Buzdar has also announced to quit politics. The series of the PTI-quitters has been ongoing and so far many prominent figures and PTI Chairman’s close aides have separated their path.

Addressing a press conference, the former CM Punjab said that he strongly condemns the incidents of May 9.

He said that they have always participated in politics for a noble cause. He said that they stood with Pakistan and its institutions.

Usman Buzdar said that he was taking a break from politics for some time. He said that the properties, which were incarcerated on May 9, were the properties of the state of Pakistan. He said that there would be no patriotic Pakistani who doesn’t condemn the vandalism of May 9.

Buzdar said that he has always stood with the Pakistan Army and do the same in the future as well. He urged all the stakeholders to serve the country apart from politics.

The former CM further said that he had served the people for three years and seven months and that he is satisfied over his performance to serve people. However, he also demanded that the innocents, who were arrested after May 9, should be released.
