Four law enforcement officers were martyred in the most recent attack on security forces on Sunday when unidentified gunmen attacked a checkpoint in Balochistan’s Sherani District.
Four personnel lost their lives as a result of the attackers opening fire on the checkpoint, according to police officials.
They stated that a search operation had begun after the event and that one attacker had been killed in the retaliatory firing.
Balochistan chief minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo condemns this attack.
The CM stated that “terrorists cannot demoralise security forces with cowardly acts,” adding that “the security forces’ sacrifices are a torch for the nation.”
According to the CM, security forces are firmly committed to and courageously ensuring the nation’s and the country’s security.
This is the most recent of multiple attacks launched against the nation’s law enforcement organisation in recent months.
Yesterday’s attack on the Smart Police Station Civil Lines Quetta resulted in at least one police officer being hurt. The attacker hurled a grenade inside the station and then fled the scene.
