Gandapur barred from entering Punjab

Former Federal Minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur and Maqbool Gujjar have been barred from entering Punjab on Friday by the Punjab government.

Provincial Home Minister Attaullah Tarar said that Ali Amin has been in Punjab because he wanted to carry out violent activities in Punjab.

Regarding the elections, he said that Attaullah Tarar said that peaceful, fair and transparent elections would be ensured in Punjab and those who want to cause violence during elections will be dealt with strictly.

He further said that the armed groups of PTI will not be succeeded in their conspiracy. The provincial home minister accused PTI is inciting hatred and violence among people because it can see itself defeated already. It is also accusing officers of rigging and threatening them. In a meeting on the security of by-elections, the provincial home minister said that no one was allowed to carry arms during the Punjab by-elections. Section 144 has been implemented on the display of arms.
