Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that the upcoming general elections should be held on time.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain hosted a lunch in honour of Pakistani-American businessman Naveed Anwar Chaudhry. The lunch was attended by Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed and Chaudhry Shafi Hussain among other political figures.
Later talking to senior journalists Chaudhry Shujaat said that political and economic stability was essential in the country and the next general elections should be held on time.
Chaudhry Shujaat stressed that everyone including Imran Khan should come back to the Assembly because the people had elected them and were seeing what their representatives were doing.
PML-Q President also said that neither the army had to come nor anyone else. He said that if everyone would work for Pakistan then it will be saved and if political parties do not come together then everyone will be destroyed.
Chaudhry Shujaat said that he had told his party to talk about Pakistan not themselves. He said that many powers wanted to destroy Pakistan and wanted Indian supremacy in the region.
He further said that a strict attitudes should be taken against those who increased their rate in front of enemy countries.
