Government buying leaked data from hackers, says Fawad Chaudhry

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the government was buying leaked data from hackers.

Talking to media on Monday, Fawad Chaudhry said that the audios of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) have been leaking since August 20. He said that a lot has been spent on equipping the agencies with modern equipment and despite that 340 hours of audio was leaked but no institution knew.

PTI leader further said that the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan is also insecure regarding cyber security, which we condemn.

Criticizing the information minister and interior minister, he said that Marriyum Aurangzeb and Rana Sanaullah have issued statements but those were ridiculous; further saying that so far the PMO has not issued a statement on the audio leak and the matter of audio leaks should be investigated.

Fawad Chaudhry also said that the hacker has claimed that he has not yet released the explosive conversation, it is reported that the government is negotiating with the hacker to buy the leaked data.

In response to a question, Fawad Chaudhry said that Miftah Ismail is being removed and Ishaq Dar is being brought to replace him. He said that Miftah should leave the party on the audio leaked about him, as he has been pushed down from the bus after getting the work done.
