The federal government has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that in view of the international prices the prices of high-speed diesel and petrol have been kept at previous rates.
Ishaq Dar further said that the decision was made to reduce the prices of light diesel and kerosene oil.
The price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs10 per litre. The price of light diesel has been decreased by Rs7.50 per litre.
Earlier in previous fortnight terms as well, the federal government had maintained the prices of petroleum products at the same level.
In Pakistan, the prices of petroleum products are decided on a fortnight basis.
Despite the fact of decreasing prices of petroleum products in the international market the decision has been made to maintain prices at the previous level.
