Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has announced that the government will step down upon completing its term.

During a press conference in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif stated in a clear message that the announcement and organization of elections is the responsibility of the Election Commission. It is their duty to conduct the elections according to the constitution.

He said that if Allah gave someone else the opportunity in the elections, PML-N will fully cooperate. If we do not come together as a united front, excluding “you” and “I” and becoming “we,” Pakistan will not progress.

The Prime Minister further stated that making a deal with the IMF to reduce inflation overnight is not possible, and denying inflation is deceiving oneself.

Shahbaz Sharif mentioned that the Chairman of the Senate himself has said that the bill regarding the increase in salaries will be withdrawn. The IMF program is not about luxuries or sweets; it is aimed at strengthening the economy.
