Govt not a party in Kachhi incident: Bizenjo

The parliamentary leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Balochistan chapter), Sardar Yar Ahmed Rind announced winding up the protest sit-in outside Balochistan Assembly (BA) after successful negotiations with the government.

The provincial PTI chief had been staging a dharna for the last six days against giving free hand to alleged miscreants involved in the murder of three people in their house in Kachhi last year. While speaking to the gathering, which included the victims’ family members, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddos Bizenjo said the government and governmental departments were not a party in the Kachhi incident.

He added that the government believed in peaceful culmination of political and tribal affairs in the province. “Law and order situation is our foremost priority,” the CM added. The Balochistan chief minister said that the nominated culprit would be arrested soon and stressed that the provincial government was impartial in all its affairs and would not favour or go against any party.

He told the protesters that a parliamentary committee has been formed by the speaker of Balochistan Assembly for the resolution of the issue and it included Mir Naseeb Marri, Syed Ehsan Shah, Mir Zahid Reki, Qadir Nayel, Sana Baloch, Akhtar Langove and Mir Hammal Kalmati.
