‘Govt will have to establish writ’: Zardari on threats to judges and state officials

Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying that the state must establish its writ if a person threatened the army, police and a female magistrate.

The former president, while referring to Imran Khan, asked rhetorically if Imran could take revenge against him, Nawaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz and trample every law? Asif Ali Zardari said that institutions and the government would have to establish their own writ.
