Gulf, US, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with religious fervor

Today is being celebrated with religious fervor in the Gulf countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Along with Eid-ul-Azha, Saudi and Pakistani nationals, among others, have turned to sweet shops to entertain friends and loved ones. Communities are still divided in the UK, Canada and the US this time, some people will celebrate Eid today and some tomorrow.

On the other hand, the pilgrims today are performing the worship of the Satan, will shave their heads by sacrificing and open ihram, then do Tawaf-e-Ziyarat, will do “Sai” between Safa and Marwa in ordinary clothes.

After offering Eid prayers in Masjid-e-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabawi and other mosques of the country, citizens are also buying cakes of different flavors and Saudi chocolate at sweet shops. Sweets shops have a variety of sweets beautifully decorated.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, other foreigners, including Saudi and Pakistani citizens, say that Eid is incomplete without the taste of small or big sweets.

Members of the French Parliament, local mayors also participated in the Eid gatherings and greeted the Muslim community on Eid-ul-Adha.

In Paris the largest congregation of Eid prayers was held at the historic “Jamia Masjid Paris”. Muslims from local French, Arab, African and Asian countries offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers. The prayers were also offered at more than 1,000 other places across France.

Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Thursday.
