Hamza Ali Abbasi returns to TV screen with drama serial ‘Jaan-e-Jahan’

Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi is finally ready to make a comeback to television screens with a project named Jaan-e-Jahan after a years-long break.

He shared a teaser on Monday confirming his comeback. Drama is written by Rida Bilal, directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, and features Hamza Ali Abbasi and many more actors.

The lead actor, the director, the writer, and the producers were introduced in the brief clip along with a beautiful two-liner that read, “Kisi ayat ki tarha, ay jaan-e-jahan, tujhe aankhon se lagana baaki hai.”

The upcoming project is a production of Samina Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz.

Abbasi is making a comeback on television after a lengthy break. His last drama “Alif” was released in 2019.

The Mann Mayal actor declared in 2019 that he was giving up performing to devote his life to religion. He had claimed, “Maula Jatt would have been my final effort if I hadn’t done Alif because of its message about God.”

“I will still make dramas and movies, but they will be for my country and my faith. I’ll attempt to use this platform to spread the word that, in my opinion, needs to be spread,” Maula Jatt star asserted.
