TikTok star Hareem Shah is currently in London, seeking answers from Shahzad Akbar, the former accountability chief of Imran Khan’s government. She wants to know why he tried to ruin her life by asking the UK National Crime Agency (NCA) to arrest her in a money-laundering case. Hareem Shah believes that Akbar misused his power when he was influential in the Pakistani government.
The incident in question occurred in January 2022 when Hareem Shah posted a video from London, showing a large amount of cash and claiming to have taken it out of Pakistan without any issues. Following this, Akbar ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to initiate a money-laundering case against her and also wrote to the UK NCA about her.
Hareem Shah accuses Akbar of fleeing Pakistan and hiding in London to escape corruption charges in Pakistan. She claims that he wanted her deported from London and did everything possible to put her in trouble. She also alleges that Akbar had a hand in ruining the lives of others while he was in power, including a man named Mian Saleem Raza who was falsely implicated in Judge Arshad Malik’s video scandal.
Hareem Shah asserts that she has done nothing wrong and had no difficulty obtaining a new British visit visa. She plans to stay in London for a month for a summer vacation. Meanwhile, she will be hunting for Shahzad Akbar to get answers.
