According to media officials, “The main shooter has been arrested by security forces after Hezbollah handed him over hours ago.”

Earlier this week, a judicial official stated that Lebanese investigators had recognized perpetrators in the attack adding that at least two shooters had been identified.

Officials further added that according to preliminary findings a car carrying armed men followed the UNIFIL vehicle they also called the attack premeditated.

Whereas, Hezbollah had also consistently denied participation in the incident and its security chief Wafic Safa had described the killing as unintentional.
