The conference of special envoys on Afghanistan will take place from May 1 to May 2 in Doha, according to the Foreign Office (FO), which announced on Monday that State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar will participate.
Khar will also meet privately with the presidents of the other participating countries, according to a FO press release today.
According to the statement, the state minister for foreign affairs would outline Pakistan’s viewpoint on Afghanistan and strive to forge an understanding on the best course of action with international and regional partners.
“Pakistan will continue to support all efforts to advance the shared objectives of a peaceful, stable, sovereign, prosperous, and connected Afghanistan,” the press statement said in its final sentence.
