Humaima Malick is making a comeback in the showbiz industry after a long time with a short film called Half Cooked. Directed and produced by Shahrukh Naveed, Half Cooked will star Malick, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Naayab Ali.
In the captions that are being shared with the short film’s teasers, it is said that the film is based on a couple’s attempt to avoid their monotonous routine by inventing a game, the unfolding of which will make Half Cooked quite an interesting watch. In the teaser, the husband is found resisting the game by saying that it’s scary, while the wife responds with the following words: “Yehi tou exciting hai!” (That’s exactly what makes it exciting).
The short film will be released on the popular OTT platform, Seeprime. The final date, however, hasn’t been announced yet. With a small yet powerful cast that promises a different take on a husband-wife relationship, Half Cooked will hopefully turn out to be a success.
