‘I just speak truth and don’t manipulate anyone’, says Miftah Ismail

Former finance minister Miftah Ismail has clarified that he does not work to pull anyone’s legs but speaks the truth and only the truth.

He expressed these views while talking to Journalist on his way back to Karachi.

He was referring to the Prime Minister’s statement in which he had said that those who are pulling the legs of Ishaq Dar have no place in the PML-N.

Miftah Ismail said that he had come to Islamabad to meet some of his friends and also tried to contact Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Referring to the prime minister’s statement of pulling Ishaq Dar’s legs, he said he had no idea why he said so and who he was referring.

Sources said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Miftah Ismail have no plans to part ways with the PML-N.

Referring to Ishaq Dar’s statement, Miftah Ismail had said that geopolitics was not invented in September last year to deal with the IMF, it has always been happening. So the Ministry of Finance should decide first whether they have to go on with the IMF program or not.

Later, talking to a private TV channel, Khawaja Asif said that good and bad times keep coming on the parties, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi supported Nawaz Sharif in difficult times.

He said that Miftah Ismail was criticizing his political party PML-N on a daily basis, he should come to the party and present his stance.

Asif further said that Miftah Ismail was made the Finance Minister. He said that many of his personal things were rejected by the party, but they should not be put to heart.
