I reiterate our unwavering support to Palestinians: PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the international day of Solidarity with Palestinians stated that Pakistan is in full support of the two-state solution to the Palestine-Israel conflict as per UN resolution.

PM Shehbaz via Twitter showed full solidarity with Palestinians and stated that Israeli persecution & oppressive actions that find no parallel in contemporary history are emboldened by impunity.

Pm also added that the unresolved Palestine conflict does not only have moral implications but is also dangerous for global peace.

“I reiterate our unwavering support to the Palestinians on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People,” PM stated.

PM Shehbaz in a high-level meeting regarding the law and order situation also stated that to improve the prospects of a two-state solution it is essential to stop Israel from expanding its illegal settlements in occupied Palestinian territories including East Jerusalem.

“The most recent example of the incessant Israeli violence was seen in August this year, when Israeli bombing in Gaza resulted in deaths of approximately 50 Palestinians, including 17 children, and injuries to more than 300,” he remarked.

PM also asserted that we demand the creation of a viable, independent, and contiguous State of Palestine based on the internationally accepted parameters of the pre-1967 lines with Al Quds al Sharif as its capital and we reaffirm our support for the people of Palestine.
