If absconder would make decisions what good could be expected, asks Imran

Society without rule of law can’t prosper, Sharifs always tried to bribe or spread fear, says PTI Chairman

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that if an absconder would make decisions for the country then what good could be expected the society without rule of law could not prosper.

The former prime minister has said that PM Shehbaz has gone to London to meet the absconder and ironically they will discuss the key appointment of the army chief.

Imran said that they have been planning to appoint the army chief. He also said that he has no issue with whoever would be appointed as army chief but his concerns were only that the appointment should be based on merit and transparently as per law.

Addressing the participants of the long march at Gujrat through video link PTI Chairman said that three important witnesses of the money laundering case have died since Shehbaz Sharif became the PM while Dr. Rizwan has also died who had been investigating the case.

He said that the judiciary is an important pillar of the country. He said that Justice Sajjad Ali Shah has stated clearly what was done to him by PML-N. He further said that in the same way they have tried to make the institutions corrupt.

He also criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). He said that electronic voting machines have been disbanded just for the purpose that elections could not be held transparently.

Imran said that the Sharifs have always tried to either bribe or spread fear in case bribery does not work. PTI Chairman further said that NAB laws have been amended by the assembly since the coalition government came into power.

He said that journalists have been targeted for speaking the truth as some had to leave Pakistan while the ones in Pakistan have also faced fascism. He also spoke on the cases of Arshad Sharif and Azam Swati. He said that the mafias have been trying to rule the people by spreading fear

He urged the people to participate in the long march of PTI. He also thanked them for participating in huge numbers in the past weeks.
