Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that his party would give resignations from the National Assembly on Monday if their concerns regarding Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination were not addressed.
While talking to media in Islamabad, Fawad said that his party would resign from the National Assembly tomorrow (Monday) if the party’s reservations regarding PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination as the prime minister were not addressed.
The announcement follows PTI Chairperson Imran Khan losing the vote of no-confidence in the National Assembly.
While talking to media in Islamabad along with PTI leaders Sheikh Rasheed and other, Fawad Chaudhry said that the current political scenario was analysed in a meeting of PTI’s Central Core Executive Committee (CEC) in Bani Gala.
Fawad added that the CEC gave the recommendation of resignation to Imran Khan, adding that if their concerns were not addressed, they would be resigning on Monday.
