IHC grants interim bail to Imran Khan in attempt to murder case

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted interim bail to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in an attempt to murder case.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard the bail plea of Imran Khan in an attempt to murder case and granted bail.

The court ordered Imran Khan to submit a bail bond of Rs 100,000 and granted his interim bail till March 9.

As per media reports, Imran Khan stood up and thanked the court for granting interim bail.

It may be recalled that Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha had filed an FIR against Imran Khan for an attempt to murder.

Imran Khan was granted bail in the ATC in the case of Anti-terrorism for protesting outside the Election Commission, while Imran Khan was also granted bail in the banned funding case in the banking court.

In the Toshakhana case, the Additional Sessions Judge issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Imran Khan for non-appearance.

However, IHC granted Khan bail in the Toshakhana case as well.
