The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has expressed satisfaction with Pakistan’s actions and indicated a green signal for a staff-level agreement.
According to the media sources, the virtual talks between Pakistan and the IMF had made positive progress and a staff-level agreement with the IMF is likely to be reached this week.
Reports said that Pakistan made progress on all the goals given by the IMF, the IMF was satisfied with the goals of the MIFP four times, and advance targets were also achieved before the staff level agreement.
It further added that due to the improvement in foreign exchange reserves, the last precondition of the IMF had also been fulfilled, and China’s debt rollover improved foreign exchange reserves.
