IMF delegation to visit in 2-3 days, PM Shehbaz

Never saw anyone more hypocrite than Imran, nobody born in country is more ungrateful than him

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has asked to send the team to Pakistan in the next three days.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Hazara Electric Supply Company the Prime Minister said that yesterday the Chinese Prime Minister told him on the phone that IMF’s Managing Director had come to China to whom he said that Pakistan was not only a friend of China but a brotherly country.

He said that last night he had received a call from the Managing Director of the IMF to whom he told that the previous government broke the agreement and brought Pakistan to the bottom while the current coalition government fulfilled the agreement.

He said that he told IMF chief that the brotherly countries like China and Saudi Arabia stood with Pakistan. He said that just as the previous government neglected other projects it also neglected gas and power projects.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the price of gas in the market was $2 per unit during corona epidemic but Imran Khan did nothing.

The PM said, “A few days ago I had thoughtfully said that I have never seen a bigger benefactor, hypocrite and ungrateful person than Imran Khan in my life and it is clear from his words and speeches that a bigger thankless person was not born in Pakistan.”

He said that this institution had made all efforts so that Imran Khan could succeeds and Pakistan could progress.

Talking about the decisions taken regarding energy saving, the Prime Minister said that we discussed it in the cabinet for the last several days and decided to close the markets early so that energy could be saved.
