More leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have jumped ship as a result of May 9 incidents.
In the latest series of those politicians quitting PTI, Firdous Aashiq Awan, former PTI members from Sahiwal, Pak Pattan and Okara announced that they were leaving the party.
Firdous Aashiq Awan vehemently denounced the tragic incidents of May 9. She said that sje herself was an eye-witness of Imran Khan’s agenda. She said that due to her narrative she had backed her ideology for Pakistan, and that was the reason that she had not come before media as well during that period.
Firdous Aashiq Awan said that Imran Khan and Pakistan cannot run together. She said that the foundation of politics laid by PTI has shaken every patriot. She demanded strict punishments for those responsible in May 9 incidents.
She said that Imran’s agenda has become like a poison for Pakistan.
Saad Muhammad Chishti said that he was resigning from basic membership of PTI. He condemned the tragic incidents of May 9 incidents. He also said that he had served Pakistan Army for 10 years.
Another former PTI member, Irshad Kaathia while announcing his acquittal from PTI, said that whatever was done, that was agenda of Pakistan’s enemies. He said that the whole nation was jolted by the incidents of May 9.
Several PTI leaders, including prominent names like Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, Asad Umar, Maleeka Bukhari, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, and others have already left the party.
