Imran announces to call off all protests in public interest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced to call off all the protests in the public interest.

According to the report, PTI Chief has said its supporters to stop protests because the public was facing difficulties due to traffic disruptions caused due to protests.

The decision has been made mainly due to difficulties that people were facing due to the closure of roads.

In Rawalpindi traffic flow was affected in the twin cities after PTI protesters blocked several places for the second consecutive day.

On Tuesday morning after access to Islamabad became difficult, citizens were forced to look for alternative routes to enter Islamabad. Schools in Rawalpindi were also closed for two days.

On the other hand, lawyers had also protested and raised slogans outside the office of IG Punjab in Lahore on the issue of registration of an FIR of the murderous attack on Imran Khan. The protest call was given by Insaf Youth Wing and Insaf Students Federation (ISF).

Apart from this, the Ministry of Interior has also written to the Chief Secretaries of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to maintain a law and order situation.
