Imran Khan agrees on calling APC

PTI chairman said that all platforms should be used to advocate for holding of elections, says Fawad Chaudhry

Fawad Chaudhry, a prominent member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former minister of information, has said on Tuesday that Imran Khan, the party’s leader, has agreed to call an all-parties meeting to discuss general elections.

Fawad claimed a team of leading journalists visited Imran Khan at his Zaman Park mansion in Lahore and suggested holding an all-parties meeting to ensure free and fair elections in the nation while speaking at a press conference with party leader Pervez Khattak.

The PTI chairman approved of the idea and stated that all platforms should be used to advocate for the holding of elections, according to Fawad.

Pervez Khattak said that the government was avoiding the election because “they know they cannot defeat PTI and Imran Khan.” He said that the government was filing fabricated charges against PTI employees, stressing that “we were the ones who had to deal with state brutality.”

“They are accusing PTI officials and employees of false crimes. The government wants to destabilize Pakistan by such tactics, despite the fact that we desire free and fair elections in the nation, according to Khattak.
