Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has alleged that Asad Qaisar and Pervaiz Khattak, two of his very close aides from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have been abducted.

“I had appointed a committee for negotiations. Asad Qaisar and Pervaiz Khattak were called for meeting by the establishment, but now they have been kept there and are not allowed to leave the safe house until they announce separation from PTI and me,” he said.

Addressing the nation through video link, Imran Khan said “Do they [establishment] understand, what they are doing? They are actually ending the politics of these politicians.” He added that he could give in writing that the people would not vote to any of the PTI defector.

Imran Khan said to his workers that there were difficult times but they should be patient. He said, “My question today is whether the country will be better off by breaking the country’s largest and only federal party, removing its leader and creating fear on the workers?”

PTI chief further said that there is no Pakistani who does not condemn the burning of the Corps Commander House on May 9, but a transparent investigation is the need of the hour. He said that their workers were martyred and about 10,000 were in jail. He said that now all efforts were being made to put him in jail.
