The names of more than 600 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and former lawmakers, including former prime minister Imran Khan, have been included in the no-fly list.

According to reports, the names of more than 600 former MLAs and PTI officials, including Imran Khan, had been included in the no-fly list in the wake of their involvement in the May 9 arson incidents.

In order to stop PTI leaders from traveling abroad, it said their names had been added to the FIA’s Provincial National Identification List (PNIL).

Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, was also listed as a no-fly passenger.

The no-fly list also included Murad Saeed, Malika Bukhari, Fawad Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Qasim Suri, Asad Qaiser, Yasmin Rashid, and Mian Aslam Iqbal.

According to reports, PTI members and officials attempted to travel abroad during the past three days. These individuals were reportedly detained at airports and names were supplied by the police, CTD, and intelligence services to prevent them from doing so.
