Barrister Gohar Ali, a member of the legal team of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated after a meeting in Attock Jail that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is prepared to engage in dialogue with institutions and political parties.

Among those present were lawyers Inamur Rehman, Shoaib Shaheen, Naeem Bokhari, and Gohar Ali. Additionally, Imran Khan’s personal physician, Dr. Faisal Sultan, was also present at Adiala Jail.
The Secretariat of the Courts Act had granted permission for the meeting between lawyers and Dr. Faisal Sultan.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Barrister Gohar Ali said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan had claimed that he had been unjustly imprisoned in jail, but despite this, he is willing to engage in dialogue with institutions and political parties.
PTI lawyer Shoaib Shaheen said that Imran Khan is healthy and fit; his message is that the country cannot progress until there is political stability.
He said that Chairman PTI stated that there is no respect for the courts in the country, and he had not made any deal.
Shoaib Shaheen said that Chairman PTI exercises for one hour every day.
“He has not backed down from his stance even when he has been incarcerated. He stated that his political struggle and sacrifices are for the nation,” Shoaib added.
It is worth noting that former Prime Minister Imran Khan is in Adiala Jail on judicial remand in the Saffar case until September 13.
