As political activity picks up ahead of elections, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is prepared to leave his months-long residency in Lahore and return to his hilltop house, Bani Gala.
Even though it would take a few more days for the former prime minister, who is suffering from gunshot wounds, to restore to full health, media reports say Imran will move back into his Islamabad house soon.
According to reports, Imran Khan’s leg injury needs a few more days to recover entirely and once the leg heals, he would move from his Lahore home in Zaman Park for Bani Gala.
Meanwhile, measures are being taken to increase security at his Bani Gala home. Two unique bulletproof rooms have been created, and bullet-resistant glass has been installed in the windows for the former prime minister.
To protect the former premier, who has been raising concerns that his life is in danger and that plots are being developed to retaliate against him, private security officers have also been deployed to secure the property.
