Imran Khan reaches Liberty Chowk Lahore to start long march

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has reached Liberty Chowk Lahore to start his long march. The PTI supporters gathered to welcome their party chairman was ready to kick start and participate in the march.

Imran Khan after getting on his container waived at the people gathered for his welcome and to participate in the march. Senior PTI leadership including Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Hamad Azhar, Ali Zaidi, Faisal Javed, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Shafqat Mehmood, Sheikh Rasheed and others were also present on the container.

The long march will move on the roads of Lahore for today. According to today’s roadmap, the march will move from Liberty to Icchra, Mozang, MAO College and Data Darbar and will finally reach Azadi Chowk.

Many convoys from nearby cities had already reached Liberty Chowk before the arrival of Imran Khan while different convoys were also reportedly present at different points on Ferozepur Road that were supposed to join the march as it will reach them.

Earlier today, addressing a press conference in Lahore PTI’s Central Secretary General Asad Umar and Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry before the start of the Long March said that if the people want to change the system then they will have to come out. Asad Umar said that convoys from Karachi, Sindh, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan will reach Rawalpindi on Thursday.

Asad Umar said that according to the direction of the court they will gather in Islamabad H-9, next Friday, Saturday and Sunday and there will be the biggest gatherings in the history of the country.

Imran Khan’s container had already ready reached Liberty a few hours before his arrival here. The container was renovated in Islamabad and then was shifted to Lahore.
