Imran Khan ready to commit for political stability, Asad Umar

PM is making rash comments because he knows nation is against their narrative, says PTI Secretary General

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is prepared to offer an undertaking for discussions with political parties and go forward in his effort to establish political stability in the country, party’s Secretary General Asad Umar said.

“Imran Khan wishes to make a commitment. The government should also provide an assurance, the PTI leader said while speaking with TV channel on Wednesday.

A day earlier, Khan declared he was willing to participate in any type of all-party conference (APC) for upholding the Constitution, breaking with his custom of refusing to engage with political parties in the current administration.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is a bunch of thieves rather than a political coalition, according to the PTI leader.

In his remarks on the Supreme Court’s decision on the PTI’s appeal against the Election Commission of Pakistan for delaying the Punjab elections, Umar said that Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial had previously stressed the significance of all political parties coming to an agreement on a course of action.

“The Chief Justice is referencing a liberated atmosphere. He believes that everyone should be together,” he stated.

The PTI leader asserted, “The chief justice is not a politician; his duty is to uphold the Constitution.” He continued by saying that this specific Chief Justice’s ruling led to the overthrow of the PTI administration, but they accepted court’s order.

Asad Umar criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier today while meeting with journalists in Islamabad on his criticism of the PTI Chairman.

He said that the Prime Minister has been making such rash comments because “he knows that the nation was against their narrative and no one was ready to trust what they were saying after how their lives had become difficult in the last year.”
