Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has sent a rs10 billion defamation notice to Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel for leveling “frivolous allegations” based on medical reports.
Imran Khan has initiated a full-fledged legal action against Abdul Qadir Patel.
PTI chairman’s lawyer Abu Zar Salman Niazi has sent a legal notice to the federal health minister on behalf of Imran Khan.
The legal notice has said that Abdul Qadir Patel should withdraw his absurd allegations within 15 days and tender an unconditional apology to the former prime minister immediately.
In the legal notice, it has been said that Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Patel should pay Rs10 billion as compensation to the PTI chairman, which will be deposited in Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
The notice also states that if Abdul Qadir Patel does not apologize, legal proceedings will be taken forward.
