Imran Khan very intelligent man and amazing liar, says general retired Bajwa

Former army chief general retired Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed were two of the country’s worst liars.

General retired Bajwa, in an interview, clarified some of the things that were done while he was in office.

He said that Imran Khan, Sheikh Rasheed and a journalist were the three liars in Pakistan. He termed Imran Khan as a very intelligent man and an amazing liar. According to Bajwa, Imran Khan’s falsehoods are often believed by the public.

Bajwa responded to a different query by saying, “Sheikh Rasheed makes grandiose claims as if he has insider information and has access to inner circles at GHQ, but in reality he has no such clout.”

The former army chief said that Sheikh Rasheed had once spoken to him and lamented Imran Khan’s incapacity to lead the nation. Bajwa disclosed that general retired Faiz Hameed had instructed to file a complaint at the time of the raid at a Karachi hotel room following political sloganeering at Quaid’s tomb.

“I had not ordered to smash the door of Maryam Nawaz’s chamber,” he clarified. Captain Safdar and Maryam Nawaz were there during the police raid but in separate rooms, according to Bajwa.

Bajwa also referred to Orya Maqbool Jan as another national liar. He made fun of Orya Maqbool Jan by claiming that the reporter had previously dreamed about him and that he was now in opposition to him. He explained that he had no involvement in the dismissal of journalists Nusrat Javed and Murtaza Solangi.

He continued by saying that well-known anchorman Syed Talat Hussain was fired on the orders of general retired Faiz Hameed. In addition, He said that Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman had been imprisoned by Imran Khan and requested that the former prime minister free him.

The claims of PTI leaders Azam Swati and Dr. Shahbaz Gill were also refuted by the previous commander of the army.
