Imran Khan’s sentencing Judge Hamayoun Dilawar, appointed as OSD

Hamayoun Dilawar, the additional session judge who sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the toshakhana case, has been appointed as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

After receiving approval from the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court for Hamayoun Dilawar’s appointment as an OSD, an official notification was issued by the Additional Registrar of the Islamabad High Court.

The notification directed Additional Session Judge Hamayoun Dilawar to report to the Islamabad High Court.

It was Judge Hamayoun Dilawar who pronounced the sentence for the Chairman of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) in the Toshakhana case on August 5th.

In the Toshakhana case, the court sentenced Imran Khan to three years in prison, after which he is currently serving his sentence in Adiala Jail.
