Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that he would prefer to volunteer his arrest rather than torture on his supporters.
Addressing through video link, he said that a plan had been prepared for operation on Zaman Park and two special teams had also been formed for conducting the operation by the Inspectors Generals (IGs) of Punjab and Islamabad.
Imran Khan alleged that the plan was that police squad will penetrate into PTI workers and fire towards police for their lame excuse but he and his party had always demonstrated peacefully. He said that an operation could possibly be conducted tonight or within 48 hours.
PTI Chairman said that the government wanted to get PTI out of politics before going into elections. He said that they were afraid because they knew that their political grave will be ready in case of elections.
Imran Khan said that the residences of PTI leaders, supporters and activists raided by police illegally which was smear violation of the law. He said that his followers and supporters were being arrested and harassed.
He said that he came to know today that the number of cases filed against him had reached the number of 143. He said that they knew that they could never defeat PTI in elections and therefore they were evading elections
Former prime minister said that the Minar-e-Pakistan jalsa will be a referendum. He said that he had waited for 40 hours outside the gate of Federal Judicial Complex (FJC) but there was chaos created by administration. He said that the plan was to assassinate him like Murtaza Bhutto
He said that Ishaq Dar had linked Pakistan’s nuclear program with IMF package. He said that even IMF had distanced itself from that irresponsible statement of Finance Minister.
