Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has raised concerns over the detention of his security in charge.

He said that it was being done to spread fear among PTI workers and supporters and that they knew who was behind all this.

Imran Khan tweeted, “My security in charge Iftikhar Ghumman is still in FIA custody. He was an overseas Pak who left everything & came to Pak to help in our mission for Haqiqi Azadi. He has been deliberately targeted to weaken my security & also to spread fear amongst PTI hierarchy. We know who is behind all this.”

Few hours earlier, PTI Chairman also raised voice over the abduction of his party’s social media team member Atta ur Rehman. He said that the young people were being penalized for being part of PTI social media team.

He stated in his tweet, “It has been 5 days since our PTI Instagram lead Atta ur Rehman was abducted. We demand his immediate release & an end to abductions & torture of our social media activists. These young people have committed no crime & are being penalised simply for being part of PTI’s social media team.”
